Feature Request Tools for Web and Mobile Teams, Compared

A feature request tool gives your users one place to post ideas, vote on other people's and see what happens next. The market runs from enterprise platforms sold through a demo to small hosted boards and tools that live inside a mobile app. This roundup sorts twelve of them by the kind of team they suit.

We make FeedbackKit, so read this with that in mind. Every fact about another tool below comes from that tool's own website or docs, checked on 17 October 2026, and is linked where it is used.

The short version

  • Enterprise feedback platforms (UserVoice, Productboard) tie requests to accounts and revenue across sales and support, and are priced through a demo.
  • Broad SaaS platforms (Canny, Featurebase) add AI, portals, roadmaps and changelogs, with free plans and prices that scale with tracked users or seats.
  • Hosted boards (Nolt, Frill, FeedBear, Upvoty, Sleekplan, UserJot) are simpler and cheaper, and most charge a flat price.
  • In-app tools (FeedbackKit, Features.Vote) put the board inside your iOS app with native screens. Most web tools reach mobile through a web view.

For a list of questions to ask before you buy, see our checklist for choosing an in-app feature request tool. If your product is an iOS app, our roundup of in-app feedback tools for iOS goes deeper on native SDKs.

Enterprise feedback platforms

UserVoice

UserVoice calls itself an enterprise customer intelligence platform: it gathers feedback from many sources, enriches it with AI and ties each signal to the customer and revenue behind it, with a portal and a roadmap. The pricing page shows no figures. Plans are "based on feedback volume, tools leveraged and the integrations you connect, never by seat", and a 30-day trial workspace follows a demo. Its old mobile SDKs (uservoice-ios-sdk and the Android one) are archived on GitHub, with no changes since July 2019. See FeedbackKit and UserVoice compared.

Productboard

Productboard is a product management platform for prioritising and planning roadmaps. For feature requests, its pricing page lists Product Portals with voting, moderation and feedback forms (two portals on Business). Pricing is per maker, the product managers who own the roadmap, with a minimum of five makers; contributors don't count. No plan price is published, and Business starts with a demo. Annual billing saves 21%.

Broad SaaS feedback platforms

Canny

Canny combines a feedback portal with access control, a shareable roadmap and Autopilot, which reads call transcripts, support tickets and reviews, pulls out feature requests and merges duplicates. Pricing: Free for 25 tracked users; Pro from $79/month billed yearly; Business is custom. Price scales with tracked users, and you can set a monthly spend limit. For mobile, the mobile widget loads in a WKWebView and needs single sign-on. See FeedbackKit and Canny compared and FeedbackKit vs Canny.

Featurebase

Featurebase pairs a support inbox with AI replies with feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog. Pricing is per seat: Free with 1 seat, then Growth at $29, Professional at $59 and Enterprise at $99 per seat a month billed yearly, or $37, $75 and $129 billed monthly, plus $0.49 per AI resolution. Its installation overview covers web installs and suggests a WebView for iOS and Android. See FeedbackKit and Featurebase compared and FeedbackKit vs Featurebase.

Hosted feedback boards

Nolt

Nolt is a hosted feedback board with a roadmap and a changelog, priced flat, with unlimited users, content and admins on every plan. On its pricing page, Essential is $29/month billed annually ($348 a year) for 1 board, and Pro is $69/month billed annually ($828 a year) for 5 boards, adding Jira, Linear, monday.com and Asana. No free plan is listed. See FeedbackKit and Nolt compared.

Frill

Frill offers an ideas board, roadmaps, announcements and surveys. On its pricing page, billed monthly, Startup is $25/month with 50 active ideas and 1 survey, Business is $49/month with unlimited ideas, Growth is $149/month and Enterprise is $349/month. A yearly billing option is shown. It has a 14-day trial with no card and no free plan. See FeedbackKit and Frill compared.

FeedBear

FeedBear offers unlimited boards with upvotes and comments, and a roadmap that keeps customers updated on progress. On its pricing page, Lite is $19/month or $15/month billed annually, for 1 team member and 1 board; Startup is $49/month or $40/month annually, with 3 members and unlimited boards. No free plan; a 14-day trial with no card. For mobile apps, its FAQ suggests linking to the board in a webview or the browser. See FeedbackKit and FeedBear compared.

Upvoty

Upvoty offers feedback boards, a public roadmap and a changelog. On its pricing page, billed monthly, Power is $15/month for 1 project with unlimited boards and tracked users, Super is $25/month and adds the changelog, and Hyper is $49/month with unlimited projects, API and webhooks. Annual billing saves 10%. No free plan; a 14-day trial with no card. See FeedbackKit and Upvoty compared.

Sleekplan

Sleekplan bundles a feedback board and changelog with a roadmap, CSAT and NPS on paid plans, and surveys on Business. Its pricing page has a free Indie plan for a single admin; Starter is 13 a month billed yearly with 3 seats, and Business is 38 a month billed yearly with 10 seats. The currency follows your location. Paid plans have a 30-day trial with no card. Its docs offer a JavaScript widget, a custom domain, or an iframe or mobile webview. See FeedbackKit and Sleekplan compared.

UserJot

UserJot offers feedback boards, a roadmap and a changelog, and has a Swift SDK in beta for iOS 15 and macOS 12 or later, which shows UserJot's hosted pages in native sheets. Its pricing is Free at $0 with 2 boards and unlimited posts and users, Starter at $29/month and Professional at $59/month, billed monthly. See FeedbackKit and UserJot compared.

In-app tools for mobile teams

Features.Vote

Features.Vote is a voting board, roadmap and changelog with a native SwiftUI SDK for iOS 16 and macOS 13 or later. Pricing is Lite at $9/month or $90/year and Growth at $29/month or $290/year, with a 14-day trial; its pricing page lists no free plan. No Android SDK is mentioned. See FeedbackKit and Features.Vote compared.

FeedbackKit

FeedbackKit is built around app SDKs: SwiftUI screens for iOS, macOS and visionOS, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose for Android, plus Flutter and React Native, with a headless JavaScript client for the web. Users vote and comment inside your app, you can sort requests by the MRR of the users behind them, and you triage from native admin apps for iPhone, iPad and Mac. On Pro and up, requests sync with GitHub, Linear, Notion, ClickUp, Monday.com, Trello, Airtable, Asana and Basecamp (integrations). Its limits: the Swift SDK needs iOS 26 or later, there is no Jira, no in-app chat, and no hosted public roadmap or changelog for your users. Free is $0, Pro $15/month or $150/year, Team $39/month or $390/year (pricing).

How FeedbackKit fits in

FeedbackKit is for teams whose users live in an app rather than on a website. Requests start with the submitter's vote, voting stops on Completed and Rejected, and the person who asked gets an email when the status changes to one on your list (see closing the loop with status emails). Here is how that looks in FeedbackKit, with sample data from a fictional hiking app:

Votes and comments in the app

With FeedbackKit, users vote and comment on requests inside your app, and a new request starts with its submitter's vote.

Which one to choose

  • Choose UserVoice if you are an enterprise that wants feedback from sales, support and a portal joined to account revenue, and you are happy to buy through a demo.
  • Choose Productboard if you want portals and roadmaps inside a product management platform.
  • Choose Canny if you want AI that pulls requests out of calls and tickets, and a hosted portal on a free plan to start.
  • Choose Featurebase if you want support chat and feedback in one subscription.
  • Choose Nolt, FeedBear or Upvoty if you want a simple hosted board at a flat monthly price.
  • Choose Frill or Sleekplan if you want surveys or NPS next to your ideas board.
  • Choose UserJot if you want a free hosted board, roadmap and changelog.
  • Choose Features.Vote if you want native SwiftUI screens and a hosted changelog for an Apple-platform app.
  • Choose FeedbackKit if your users are in your iOS and Android apps and you want native screens and revenue behind each request.

When FeedbackKit is not the right fit

Pick something else if your product is mainly a website, if you need a hosted public roadmap or a changelog for your users, if you plan work in Jira, if your iOS app supports versions before 26, or if you want in-app chat or surveys.

If your users are in your app, try FeedbackKit on the Free plan with one project. Start free.
