Featurebase Alternatives: Seven Tools for Feedback and Support

Featurebase has grown from a feedback tool into a helpdesk and feedback suite. One subscription covers live chat, a support inbox, an AI agent called Fibi, a help center, feedback boards, roadmaps and a changelog. That is good value if you want all of it. If you came for feature voting, or your seat count is climbing, you may want to compare. This post covers why teams look, what to check, and seven alternatives.

We make FeedbackKit, so read this with that in mind. Every fact about Featurebase and the other tools below comes from each provider's own pages, checked on 17 October 2026 and linked where it is used. We did not use review sites. For a direct, two-product comparison, see FeedbackKit vs Featurebase.

The short version

  • Featurebase's paid plans are priced per seat, with yearly billing 20% cheaper than monthly, and helpdesk and feedback come together in each one.
  • Its Free plan has 1 seat, 1 feedback board and 1 roadmap. Widgets, a custom domain, revenue sync, custom statuses, the changelog page and integrations start on Growth.
  • If you want feedback without a helpdesk, Canny, Sleekplan, Frill and Nolt focus on boards. If you want a suite, Gleap and UserJot combine support and feedback.
  • FeedbackKit and Gleap have mobile SDKs: FeedbackKit's screens are native, and Gleap's iOS SDK shows its widget in a WKWebView. Featurebase uses a WebView in mobile apps.

Why teams look for a Featurebase alternative

These come from Featurebase's own pricing page and installation overview.

  • Per-seat pricing. Growth is $29, Professional $59 and Enterprise $99 per seat a month, billed yearly. Billed monthly, they are $37, $75 and $129 per seat.
  • You pay for the helpdesk as well. Helpdesk and feedback come in the same subscription. If you already have Intercom or Zendesk, part of it will sit unused.
  • The free plan is small. Free is 1 seat, 1 feedback board and 1 roadmap, with no AI. In-app widgets, custom domains, revenue data sync, customisable statuses, the public changelog page and integrations need Growth.
  • Some items cost extra. AI resolutions are $0.49 each on paid plans, and removing Featurebase branding is a $69 a month add-on on Professional and Enterprise.
  • Mobile apps get a WebView. The installation overview says to embed the portal in iOS or Android via a WebView with auto sign-in.

What to look for in an alternative

  • Suite or focused tool: support and feedback together, or a board next to the helpdesk you have.
  • The pricing unit: per seat, per tracked user, per board or flat.
  • Where users vote: a hosted portal, or native screens in a mobile app.
  • Roadmap and changelog, if customers rely on Featurebase's today.
  • Integrations, and the plan they need.

Seven Featurebase alternatives

The list is in no order of merit.

Canny

Canny is a feedback portal with a roadmap, a changelog and Autopilot, which captures feedback from Intercom, Zendesk, Gong and other sources. It suits B2B SaaS teams that want a feedback tool next to an existing helpdesk, with pricing that does not count seats: Pro includes 10 managers. Its pricing page lists Free for 25 tracked users, and Pro from $79 a month billed yearly, or $99 monthly, for 100 tracked users, rising with tracked users. See FeedbackKit vs Canny and Featurebase vs Canny.

Gleap

Gleap describes itself as AI-native customer support for software teams, with live chat, bug reporting, feature requests and a roadmap, surveys, session replay and Kai AI agents. Its docs list SDKs for iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, Capacitor, Cordova and JavaScript. On iOS, the SDK shows its widget in a WKWebView, per the Gleap iOS SDK source. It suits app teams that want a support suite like Featurebase but with native SDKs. On its pricing page, Starter is $29 a month billed yearly, or $35 monthly, but it has no roadmap or feature requests and no integrations. Those start on Team, at $149 a month billed yearly or $179 monthly, with unlimited seats. There is no free plan; the 7-day trial needs a card. See FeedbackKit vs Gleap.

Sleekplan

Sleekplan is a feedback suite without a helpdesk: a board, a changelog, a roadmap, CSAT, NPS and surveys. It suits teams that want surveys without an inbox. Its pricing page lists a free Indie plan for a single admin, and Starter at 15 a month, or 13 billed yearly, with 3 team seats, the roadmap and standard integrations. Business includes 10 seats. The currency follows your location. See FeedbackKit vs Sleekplan.

UserJot

UserJot combines feedback boards, a public roadmap and a changelog with live chat, which UserJot marks as in beta. It suits small teams that want feedback and chat together with a free tier and no per-seat charge: Starter and Professional list unlimited team members. Its pricing page shows Free at $0 with 2 boards, Starter at $29 a month and Professional at $59 a month. Its Swift SDK is in beta, for iOS 15 and macOS 12 or later, and shows UserJot's hosted pages in native sheets. See FeedbackKit vs UserJot.

FeedbackKit

FeedbackKit is in-app feedback and feature voting for app teams, with no helpdesk attached. It has native SDKs for Swift and SwiftUI (iOS 26, macOS 26 and visionOS 26 or later), Kotlin with Jetpack Compose on Android, Flutter and React Native, with ready-made screens, so users vote and comment in your app. Your app can pass each user's MRR through the SDK, and requests can be sorted by the total MRR of the users behind them, on every plan. On Pro and up, requests go to GitHub, Linear, Notion, ClickUp, Monday.com, Trello, Airtable, Asana or Basecamp with status sync. It suits mobile and cross-platform app teams who already have a support tool.

Plans are not per seat. Our pricing page lists Free at $0 for 1 project and 10 visible feedback items per project, Pro at $15 a month or $150 a year, and Team at $39 a month or $390 a year with unlimited projects and team members. FeedbackKit can show a project's roadmap and its board of requests on your own website through an iframe, and it has a feedback form page you can embed the same way. There is no changelog for your users, and no hosted roadmap site on your own domain. The compare table is at FeedbackKit vs Featurebase.

Here is how that looks in FeedbackKit, with sample data from a fictional hiking app:

Votes inside the app

With FeedbackKit, users vote and comment on requests inside your app, and a new request starts with its submitter's vote.

Frill

Frill offers an ideas board, a roadmap, announcements and surveys, with unlimited admins, widgets and tracked users on every paid tier. It suits teams that want company-wide access without per-seat pricing. Its pricing page shows Startup at $25 a month, or $22 billed yearly, with 50 active ideas, and Business at $49, or $44, with unlimited ideas. There is a 14-day trial and no free plan. See FeedbackKit vs Frill.

Nolt

Nolt is a hosted feedback board with a roadmap and a changelog, and unlimited users and admins on every plan. It suits teams that want a focused board at a flat rate. Its pricing page shows Essential at $39 a month, or $348 billed annually, for 1 board, and Pro at $89 a month, or $828 a year, for 5 boards with Jira, Linear, monday.com and Asana. See FeedbackKit vs Nolt.

Our Featurebase pricing explainer breaks down each plan, and the Featurebase review looks at the product as a whole.

When to stay with Featurebase

  • You want live chat, a support inbox, a help center and feedback in one tool, and would otherwise pay for two.
  • You are a young startup: the pricing page offers 86% off, plus a year of Fibi AI, to companies founded less than 2 years ago with fewer than 6 employees.
  • Your team uses Jira, Intercom or Zendesk, or wants Slack and Discord feeding in. Featurebase's integrations page lists all of them.
  • Your product is a web app and a JavaScript widget is where your users already are.

When FeedbackKit is not the right fit

FeedbackKit is a narrower product than Featurebase. It has no live chat or support inbox, no help center, no surveys, no hosted public roadmap and no changelog for your users. It does not connect to Jira, Azure DevOps, Zapier or Make, and it does not post to Microsoft Teams or Discord. There are six built-in statuses and no custom ones. The Swift SDK needs iOS 26, macOS 26 or visionOS 26, and if your product is mainly a website, the JavaScript SDK has no screens. If you want one tool for support and feedback, Featurebase, Gleap or UserJot fit better.

If voting inside your app is what you need, the Swift, Flutter and React Native docs show the setup, and our post on status emails covers closing the loop. You can start free and keep your helpdesk where it is.
